Q. With regards to storing contacts, how is your database unique?
A. In our database contacts have their own entity. This allows you to track, report and communicate with each individual as well as a member of a family, group, business, etc. In other words, you will be able to market to a family, group and/or business, however you're inclined. For example: When a child in your database turns 16, his account type will automatically change to "adult." When he then gets married, you can just move him to his own Household while maintaining all the information in his record.

A. Yes, and it's simple and incredibly intuitive. You can record pledges and payments in the system, apply partial payments to various outstanding pledges, and set up recurring payment plans.

A. Yes we process and no, you won't be restricted. We recommend using ChabadOne Pay because it's the most cost-effective and transparent offering. We also support the following gateways: Authorize.net, USAePay, and Virtual Merchant. You can sign up with any one of these gateways and use it with our database. We will assist you if you need help figuring this out.
Q. Can I control user access and permissions?
A. Yes. Multiple users can be logged in at the same time in multiple locations. Each user can be afforded their own profile with their own profile details. As the administrator, you will also have the option to limit access to information you don't wish every user to see.
Q. Can I run reports from the database?
A. Yes. Reports can be run and viewed in the database, exported to Excel or emailed as an email. You can schedule reports daily, weekly, monthly, or on any interval that suits you. You can even have the report automatically emailed to someone else, i.e., your secretary.
Q. What can we expect on the mobile application?
A. The mobile app gives you access to all the people in your database, their households, relationships, donations, events attended, and other information related to them. You can even edit and add new people to your database directly from your phone!

INTEGRATION

Q. Can we import our data from another database?
A. Yes. If the data isn't encrypted or blocked by the provider, we should be able to move the data over. The database also has a data loader tool that allows you to import from Excel or Google Spreadsheet.
Q. What types of third party integration does the database support?
A. We currently support seamless integration with Communicator, Sites and Pay, for email, forms and processing. With regards to Salesforce Apps, some apps will integrate easily while others may need a large degree of programming with which you might need our assistance.
Q. Will Site Control and Communicator integrate with the database?
A. Yes. We connected the database to Site Control so that form submissions for payments, registrations, and more, are automatically appended to the submitter's respective profile in CRM. We also added Communicator integration directly to the CRM for seamless email transfer and emailing directly from CRM.
